Longford Floodplains Red Sunrise

Description

The Longford Floodplains, when flooded almost become part of the Sale Common Wetlands area. During dry periods this area is used by grazing cattle but after heavy rains it becomes a magnificent swamp area used by all kinds of waterbirds. This particular morning the conditions were perfect for photography. No wind and a gorgeous red sunrise.  The trees, grass and rippled sky reflected in the water makes for a fantastic and colourful scene.
