It was a late afternoon and I was driving back home from a visit to Lakes Entrance. Approaching the sunset it was clear that it was going to be a good one. Nicholson River was my aim but I don’t know the area so I just got off the highway and started chasing the sunset hoping to get somewhere near the river. Then the road came to an end and this is what I saw. “That will do” I thought and it certainly was amazing. Most Australian farms have ‘cattle grids’ to make sure the cattle doesn’t leave the property through an open gate. The gate adds to the authentic Australian farm sunset look. The clouds made for some beautiful sun rays coming through, making it even more spectacular.
