One of the best places to visit for autumn colours is Bright in the high country of Victoria. Bright is especially well-know for it’s amazing looking deciduous trees such as oaks, elms, poplars and Japanese maples. These trees produce the most vibrant of colours all year around but especially in autumn; reds, yellows, browns and any colour in between. Each year, Bright organises an ‘Autumn Festival’ (usually mid to end of April) to celebrate the arrival of spectacular sights. Morning fog and sunny days make for amazing photography. An early morning trip up nearby Mt Buffalo will often take the visitor above the clouds.
